Monday morning at Trusesti High School. Anca had her first lesson at 8.00 a.m. when a student burst into her classroom and said something upset about two puppies. Anca didn't understand at first, so she asked the student to calm down and tell her again what had happened. He told her that there were two puppies at the side entrance to the school building. And Anca had to come quickly because it was cold outside.

Anca went to the entrance and sure enough, there were 2 puppies huddled together. They were two girls. It was cold, so Anca took the 2 puppies into the school building. For now. During the next break, she would take them to her vet for their first check-up. Someone had deliberately left the two puppy girls at the side entrance so that the puppies could be found. It's possible that this someone knew about Anca but didn't have the courage to approach her.

The two puppy girls, Mayana and her sister Mayla, are developing well with Anca. The two little fur babies are lively and bright. They are curious about the outside world and want to learn and understand. They live together with other puppies their own age and have already been able to socialise with their adult peers. This is how they learn to socialise. Mayana and Mayla have already met cats and would love to have them as playmates.

Mayana and Mayla are friendly and open-minded puppies. They like to be close to us 2-legged friends and love to be stroked and spoilt. They have no problem being picked up and when you put them back down on the floor, Mayana and Mayla want to be held again. Both puppy girls are playful and, as is typical of puppies, sometimes have nonsense on their minds. But you can't be angry with either of them for long, as they like to apologise with wet puppy kisses.
 
We would like Mayana to find a home with people, preferably a family with older children, who would enjoy the adventure of puppy training. There is still a lot to be learnt and practised. House-training, walking on a lead, travelling in the car, commands, not digging up houseplants and much more are all things that are new to Mayana. But with patience, empathy and understanding, time and lots of love, Mayana can certainly learn and master a few things. Attending a dog school would be desirable.

Mayana will be completely vaccinated, dewormed and chipped by the time she embarks on her journey.
