Buimaceni, a village about 1 hour from Botosani, is where a man found a mum dog with her 6 puppies in a house that was falling into ruin. The mum dog was so friendly and took such good care of her offspring that the animal-loving man went to the ruins every day to provide the female with leftover food so that she could look after her puppies. The gentleman wanted to take in one of the puppies and was looking for a way to look after the rest of the puppies. He made enquiries and eventually got Anca's telephone number.

Anca agreed to take in the dog family and asked the gentleman to catch the family and bring them to her in Botosani. The man was delighted with Anca's offer. One day later, he was already at Anca's door with mum Priska and her 5 puppies. Now the little family is with Anca and is being well looked after.

Ashanti is one of mum Priska's puppies. His mum took very good care of him and his siblings (Ajalai, Franka, Amber S. and Marie Curie), so that the five puppies have grown up to be friendly, playful and curious. Nothing is safe from the five of them. Everything is scrutinised and tested for what this something might be suitable for. Of course, Ashanti and his siblings also have nonsense on their minds and like to "help" Anca to redecorate the blankets in the baskets or simply drag them outside again to air them out. Just as it should be for lively dog children.

They also like to pull on cords or shoelaces to play with their 2-legged friend or to get attention. It's a joy to see how cheerful the little fur babies are. After playing, they all gather in their baskets and doze off or try to climb onto your lap for a rest. Being stroked or being close to the two-legged friend is a highlight for the five of them. Ashanti can also be held in your arms without any problems. He then likes to take a look at the neighbourhood. Ashanti is one of the smallest of his litter. He has shorter legs than some of his siblings.

We are looking for people for this handsome puppy who realise that puppies not only look cute, but can also be exhausting at times. A lot has to be learnt and practised. House-training, walking on a lead, travelling in the car, commands, not digging up houseplants and much more. His new owners should have patience, empathy, understanding, time and lots of love in store for Ashanti. A visit to a dog school should definitely be planned.

Ashanti will be completely vaccinated, dewormed and chipped by the time he embarks on his journey.
