A street dog was looking for a suitable place to give birth to her puppies. She finally found a dry and seemingly safe place in an old shed. A few days later, the female gave birth to 7 little puppies. She took great care of her puppies, but from time to time she had to go out in search of food. When the female came back to her puppies one evening, there was a bowl of water and leftover bread and food next to her shelter in the shed. Welcome food for the dog mum. But who put this out for her puppies?

That very evening, the shed door opened and a man came slowly and carefully into the shed. It was the owner of the shed and also the one who put the food and water out for the puppies. At first, the female was unsettled and cautious. Should she flee? But her puppies were still too small. She stayed with her babies and the older man approached the dog family to within 2 metres. He spoke to the female, turned round and left. The next day, the man came back and put food scraps down for the female again. This continued for the next few days and weeks.

The puppies were growing up and the master was worried about the dog family. He would like to keep the mum, but the 7 puppies were just too many. The older man asked around and someone gave him Anca's telephone number. Of course Anca would take on the puppies, but in return the mum female would have to be spayed. The female was allowed to stay with the gentleman and she would also be spayed. However, the older gentleman insisted on paying for the castration himself. That's what happened.

The 7 puppies (2 boys and 5 girls) named Bohne, Brötchen, Foodie, Fritte, Pommes, Sushi and Würstchen moved in with Anca in her "safe place" and showed themselves to be bright and lively little fur babies right from the start. They curiously explored their new little world. As is typical for puppies, the 7 puppies sometimes get up to mischief and redecorate their blankets in their baskets. They also like to pull on shoelaces or carry things around.

Pommes is friendly towards us humans and curious to get to know us. The first few seconds are spent checking out who the other person is. Can you play with him? Cuddle him? Any reservations quickly disappear and we start playing, cuddling and snuggling. Pommes loves to be picked up or seeks our company after an exciting game of tag with his siblings. The little puppy boy already knows Anca's tomcat and would love to have him as a play or cuddle friend.

We are looking for people for this cuddly puppy boy who realise that puppies not only look cute, but can also be exhausting at times. A lot has to be learnt and practised. House-training, walking on a lead, travelling in the car, commands, not chewing carpet and much more. Patience, empathy, understanding, time and lots of love should be provided by Pommes new owners. A visit to a dog school should definitely be planned.

Pommes will be completely vaccinated, dewormed and chipped by the time he embarks on his journey.
