A young cat, hungry and thirsty, with lots of bugs living on her body. Mitzi was desperate. She hadn't found anything to eat for a long time and she felt her body getting weaker and weaker. She walked along a concrete wall and when she turned a corner, Mitzi was standing in front of a woman. Now or never, it seemed, the young cat thought to herself and meowed at the top of her lungs. Mitzi looked up at the woman and continued to scream. The lady took pity on this so thin cat and took her in for the time being.

This lady lived in the same house as Cristina, one of Anca's helpers. It was a coincidence that these two women met in the stairwell. Since the lady knew from Cristina that she liked cats very much, she asked her if she could take Mitzi in. And yes, Cristina took Mitzi in and nursed her back to health.

Mitzi recovered well, gained weight and lived with Cristina together with another cat in a small flat. For a long time, everything was fine for Mitzi and her cat friend Sara. But then there was trouble with Cristina's landlord, who suddenly no longer wanted to tolerate the cats in the flat. Cristina had no other option, she gave Mitzi and Sara to another foster home.

Mitzi and her cat friend Sara now live with other cats at another foster home of Anca and get along very well with their fellow cats. They have also met dogs and chickens and have no problems with them. Mitzi is a curious young cat who examines everything closely and wants to get to know everything. She is also always enthusiastic about a game of tag with her cat friends. But she always stays close to home and never strays very far. Mitzi enjoys the "free" life and at the same time the safe life in the house.

Like Sara, Mitzi is a very cuddly cat towards us humans. Giving head, cuddling and being cuddled is also one of her favourite activities. She enjoys rolling onto her back and stretching out her belly to the stroking hand. But Mitzi also loves playing with her human, chasing a thread or cat fishing.

We are looking for a home for the beautiful Mitzi in a low-traffic area, where she can also enjoy outdoor access again after an appropriate settling-in period. Mitzi's new home should also have at least one other cat/boy. Of course, stroking hands and a can opener should not be missing in Mitzi's new home and are very important to her.
